What is Outdoor Recreation Leadership & Tourism?

The Outdoor Recreation Leadership & Tourism program at OSU-Cascades focuses on outdoor leadership, business, communication and other skills necessary for success in the tourism and outdoor leadership fields. After this program students have the technical and group leadership skills needed to be an outdoor guide or trip leader, and understand concepts, theory and business skills needed to move beyond guiding, into management or business ownership.
