What is Forestry?
Oregon State University's College of Forestry has been educating professionals for a century. We've earned a reputation as a world-class center of teaching and learning about forests and related resources. We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in three departments, Forest Engineering, Resources & Management, Forest Ecosystems & Society, and Wood Science and Engineering. We also jointly offer several interdisciplinary programs. We operate about 14,000 acres of College Forests, most of it within minutes of campus. Oregon State University is a land-, sea-, space- and sun-grant institution, an NCAA Division I university, and a member of the Pac-12 athletic conference. It is Oregon’s only university to hold both the Carnegie Foundation’s top designation for research institutions and its prestigious Community Engagement classification.
